Meghan Trainor’s Debut Album is #1 in the U.S.

Massachusetts native Meghan Trainor had the number one song in the country for eight weeks with her debut single “ All About That Bass”. Now her first full-length album called “Title” has just made it to the top. According to Billboard. com, she is only the thirteenth female artist in music history to have her first single and first LP both debut at #1.  (Eleven of the thirteen artists on that list can be found at your library. Please see the list below) Ms. Trainor’s record also brings the highest numbers in sales for a female artist debut in over five years.
